
Overview/Introduction

Seeking an experienced Network Administrator with extensive enterprise networking experience working on legacy systems.
-
You will be responsible for the future growth and expansion of networks.
-
The ideal candidate for this position is certified to work with HP networking equipment.
-
Work closely with departmental managers to determine future network needs and plan for changes. Develop methods and tools to test and implement new LAN/WAN equipment.
-
Create projects designed to either add functionality required by the company or address ongoing network failure issues.
-
Engage in regular network troubleshooting activities and resolve network connectivity issues. Analyse the current network structure and submit comprehensive monthly reports to the Service Level Agreement manager on making the network more efficient.
Minimum Requirements
Experience & Skills required:
-
Minimum of 5 – 6 years in a Network Administrator role.

Knowledge and proven experience on Corporate Wireless Technologies and Authentication Systems.
-
Able to use networking tools in non-conventional ways.
-
Understanding of MPLS and other corporate network designs.
- Extensive experience working in:

HP networking equipment.
-
Enterprise networking working with Legacy systems.
-

Strong knowledge and experience of Cisco firewall, router and switch technologies.
-
Strong knowledge and experience of Fortinet firewall technologies.
-
Strong knowledge and experience of HP Aruba technologies.
-
Strong knowledge of Windows operating system.
-
Knowledge of Windows interoperability with LAN/WAN.
-
Knowledge of Security patch maintenance process on LAN/WAN environments.

Ability & experience managing SLA’s with service providers.

Knowledge and proven experience on Corporate Wireless Technologies and Authentication Systems

Mikrotik:

Advanced routing and switching capabilities, with understanding of PPPoE accounts, OSPF, OVPN, Scripting

Full understanding of the OSI model, and able to clearly define each layer.

Able to use networking tools in non-conventional ways.
