Overview/Introduction

  • The focus of the role is the management and maintenance of the company's property portfolio, which ranges from agricultural properties, office buildings, mill and processing facilities, factories, and residential houses.

  • This role involves coordinating with various departments, managing budgets, supervising maintenance staff, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and effectively managing the company's assets.

Minimum Requirements

Experience & Skills required:

  • 8+ years of experience in a similar role with exposure to all facility management disciplines will be advantageous.

  • Asset management:  Prior experience in a manufacturing industry / facility management will be beneficial.

  • Project Management: Proven track record of engineering, maintenance, assets life cycles projects.

    • Experience in managing large-scale maintenance projects (e.g., renovations, facility upgrades)

    • across diverse property types.

    • Ideally managing a variety of property types, including agricultural and industrial properties.

    • Operation Performance: Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) optimisation.

    • Risk Management: Identify possible risks and implement mitigation strategies (PPM).

    • Technical Skills & Experience: Understand various maintenance methodologies and industry best standards. Familiarity with building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems), and any specialized equipment used in mills or factories.

    • Technical skills and knowledge of equipment.

    • Administration: Compiling SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures) and reporting structures.

    • Knowledge of Agricultural & Industrial Facilities: Understanding of the operational needs and maintenance for agricultural properties (such as irrigation systems, storage facilities) and processing plants or factories.

    • Previous experience with factories, mills, or other industrial facilities is highly valuable, given the complexity of managing large-scale equipment and operational needs.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in either Facilities Management, Real Estate, Property Management, OR a related field like Construction Management or Business Administration.

  • Diploma or Certification in Facilities/Property Management, Asset Management, or Building Maintenance is an advantage.
